Townsville to Cairns Flight

This is not the best best sunrise I have seen in the 8 yrs I have been staying here in Townsville but it wasn't to bad, pity I won't be coming back again next year.

After spending the day doing calls it was time to head off to Cairns, I had a 5pm flight so I headed to the airport around 4pm and checked in. The flight this time was with REX (Regional EXpress) and the aircraft was a SAAB 340 VH-ZLH (CN 340B-376).

ALLIANCE F28-MK100 VH-XWO (CN 11280)

ROYAL FLYING DOCTORS BEECHCRAFT B200 VH-FDS (CN BL-158)

QANTAS B737-838 VH-VYD (CN 33992)

REX SAAB 340B VH-ZLJ (CN 340B-380)

VIRGIN AUSTRALIA B737-8KG VH-VUW (CN 39449)

We began boarding at 5.07pm and for this flight I was in 10C;  since we were on a stand off bay and didn't need pushing back, we started taxiing at 5.15. We headed out for runway 01 and we got airborne at 5.23pm.

LINING UP ON RUNWAY 01

After departure we made a sharp bank to the left, our track took us up the coast line of Queensland and we were cruising at flight lvl 120. We began our descent into Cairns at 5.57 and we landed on runway 15 at 6.11pm

Once we were on the ground I asked if I could get a photo of the cockpit and the request was approved.
