Qantas's Retro Roo II

Today being Qantas's 95th Birthday they unveiled another Retro Roo this time in the 1960's colour scheme. The Boeing 737-838 VH-VXQ (CN 33723) which was delivered to Qantas on the 13/06/2003 is aptly named "Retro Roo II"
Its first revenue flight in the new colours was this afternoon when it arrived in Brisbane just after 5.15pm as QF562 from Sydney.

This is what VXQ looked like a few weeks ago

And this is what she looks like now.

Below is the first Retro Roo. Qantas introduced a 'retro' livery on one of their brand new Boeing 737 aircraft as a flying tribute to 70 years of their iconic kangaroo logo and VH-VZP was the aircraft they choose. VZP made its flight from Renton – Boeing Field to Sydney on the 3rd November 2014
