Having finished our calls early my manager and I headed to the airport and once checked in we headed up to the Qantas club. The large wide clean windows made for some good viewing so I got out my trusty little pocket camera which I bought especially for times like this and for on the aircraft. (I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ57) Our flight for this trip was on Jetstar (JQ 935) and the aircraft was an Airbus A320-323 rego VH-JQL

We began boarding at 2.15pm through gate 20; my seat was 6F and my manager was 6E. We pushed back at 2.46 and began taxiing at 2.50; we taxied out for a runway 33 departure which is the first time I have departed from that end. We got airborne at 2.54 and made a few slow right hand banks to the right; our track took us out over Green Island down abeam Proserpine, over Mackay then West of Rockhampton, down over Gaynder and into Brisbane landing on runway 01 at 4.43pm.
