Gold Coast Airport

A few days ago my brand new camera turned up in the mail. For the past 18 months I have been using a Canon 650D and now I own a Canon 750D, as this was a body only I also bought a new 75mm - 300mm lens. Heading down the coast on business today I wanted to try out both the camera and the lens.
I had seen on Facebook (on the aviation page) aircraft photos taken from a certain hill overlooking the ocean with buildings in the background, so after finishing my calls I hunted out this spot and below are a few photos that I took. The weather was not good as it had rained on the way down to this point, and even though the lighting was not good I was grateful it had stopped raining long enough for me to get a few photos. I was also lucky enough to get a Royal Australian Air Force KC-30-A (an A330-203 MRTT) doing a missed approach.
