As previously reported in the media, these are the first passenger revenue flights from Thursday the 25th of September.

Alongside its domestic A321XLR fleet, Qantas has announced plans to operate 16 international-grade XLRs equipped with lie-flat business class seats and seatback entertainment screens for all passengers. These upgraded aircraft will mainly serve short- and medium-range international routes, particularly between Australia and Asia, but will also be used on transcontinental flights.

The VH-OG? registration block being used for the new XLR's have been used previously by Qantas on the Boeing 767 fleet of aircraft.
Ranging from VH-OGA right through to VH-OGV from 1988 - 2014.
