United announces three new routes including Adelaide Australia

United Airlines has recently announced that it will launch new flights to Adelaide (ADL/YPAD), Bangkok (BKK/VTBS), and Ho Chi Minh City (SGN/VVTS). These flights will be operated by the Boeing 787-9.

From the 11th of December 2025 United will launch seasonal nonstop flights from San Francisco to Adelaide, Australia, which will operate three days a week. UA207 will leave San Francisco at 11:05 pm and arrive at 9:30 am on the 13th of December in Adelaide. The flight will take just under 16 hours.
The return flight, UA208, will depart the same day at 2:55 pm and arrive at 11:15 am in San Francisco.

United Airlines calls into three other Australian destinations Brisbane Airport (BNE/YBBN), Melbourne Airport (MEL/YMML), and Sydney Airport (SYD/YSSY), with all the routes being flown by either a 777-200ER or 787-9.

The Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City flights, which is flagged to start on the 26th of October, will depart from Hong Kong (HKG/VHHH) and will be tagged flights from United's Los Angeles to Hong Kong flights. 

The Bangkok flights will leave Hong Kong at 9:00 am and arrive at 10:50 am. The return flight will leave Bangkok at 4:40 PM and arrive at 8:45 PM in Hong Kong.

The Ho Chi Minh City flight will leave Hong Kong at 9:15 pm and arrive at 10:55 pm in Ho Chi Minh City. The return flight will leave at 6:00 am and arrive at 9:35 am in Hong Kong
