Today Brisbane airport experienced an extremely rare event. Brisbane gets two Emirates A380's daily. EK434 arrives direct from Dubai at 6.30 am and sits on the ground for fourteen and a half hours, departing at 9.00 pm (as Emirates 75 Tango). Then EK430 (callsign Emirates 4 Romeo) arrives around 10.30 pm and departs at 2.30 am the next morning (callsign Emirates 3 Mike). Incredibly, both Airbus A380's went tech and could not depart. This morning's Emirates touched down on 01L at 6.32am. Instead of staying on the ground for 14.5 hours, and departing at 9.00 pm, it departed at 11.35 am as Emirates 3 Mike.
The first one to arrive on Monday was A6-EEQ (MSN 141) the second was A6-EUF (MSN 218) and then today's aircraft was A6-EEP (MSN 138) sporting the Emirates Foundation livery.
