Late last night Brisbane got another first time visitor in the way of a Aerotrans Cargo Boeing 744 but not only was this its first time visiting, but it was the very first 747 to land on the new runway, 19 Right, which opened last month. So today my family and I headed out to the airport at 1.30pm for the scheduled 2pm departure. Not surprising when we got out there we discovered it wasn't going out until 5pm.

While we waited I took a few photos of other movements including what could be the very last departure of a Virgin Australia B777 after departing for LA as a freighter. Rumours have it it won't return to Brisbane.
