Another rare visitor to Brisbane Airport

Today Brisbane airport had another first, this time in the way of a South African A340-600.
This flight was due to arrive a few weeks ago but was cancelled. Today it made it here, giving Brisbane airport spotters a look at this very rare bird indeed. The aircraft rolled right through to the end of the runway giving people at the viewing deck a good photo opportunity. There were approximately 180 passengers on board who will now go directly into quarantine at hotels around the airport.

Seeing aircraft parked up like this is very sad, we hope they will be in the air very soon.
