Emirates Red Rose 777 calls into Sydney

After a horrible day weather wise here in Sydney, with loud crashing thunder and terrential rain most of the day, I was thinking I would give the airport a miss this evening because of the bad weather. Then as the afternoon went on the rain eased and the clouds lifted. Mid afternoon I got a text from my wife saying "Rosie" the Emirates 777 was in Sydney and was due to leave at 7.50pm. So after work I thought I would venture out to the airport thinking, one; I will wait for the 777 to leave and two; if there was moisture in the air it would make for some good take off and landing shots. Unfortunately there wasn't enough moisture for the shots I was hoping for but I did get a surprise when I saw the Emirates Cargo B777 taxi out a few hours before its due 7.50pm departure.

I also got to see the A380's in Qatar and Etihad which is always a welcome bonus for me plus a few other bonuses like seeing QPI the Qantas A330 in the colour scheme and getting 3 different Qantas 737's 2 in retro colours and 1 in the aboriginal scheme.
