Spotting on Christmas Eve

What do you do on Christmas Eve and you want to avoid the crowds at the shops... go to the airport and do some plane spotting of course. This time I had my little Co-Pilot (daughter) and cabin crew (wife and other daughter) with me. There were a few bonuses with todays spotting and that was there was a China Southern A330 parked at the logistics apron; Eva Air brought in their A330 in their new colour scheme and this was the first time any of us had seen the new colours and a Niugini Citation departed as well.

While we were there we got talking to a gentlemen named Barry who was there at the viewing circle to see his son (Alex) and future daughter in-law (Rachael) plane take off as they were off to Noumea on holiday. So I promised I would take a photo and post it on here for him.
