Hobart to Melbourne

Our very short trip to Hobart had come to an end and once again we had an early start.
We had an 8 am flight to Melbourne so our day started at 5.30 am, it wasn't so bad though as daylight savings finished here over night and as we had to put our clocks back an hour before we went to bed we actually had an extra hours sleep.
After checking out of the unit and filling up the hire car with fuel we headed to the airport to check in for the first of two flights today. JQ 700 was on an Airbus A321-231 VH-VWX and this will be the first time I have been on this type of aircraft. We began boarding at 7.25am through gate 4, our seats were 28 C,D,E and F. Since we were on a stand alone bay we didn't need pushing back so we began taxiing at 7.58. We taxied out for a runway 30 departure and after backtracking we turned around and kept rolling becoming airborne at 8.04am. We climbed to flt lvl 360 and our track took us up over Launceston across Bass Strait to Inverloch. We began our descent into Melbourne at 8.38 am and landed on their cross runway of 27 right on 9.00 am.
Jetstar are a point to point airline and even though we were traveling on with them we still had to collect our luggage, and since we had 4 hours 30 here we booked our bags into a locker system and then went plane spotting.
