Skyteam and the Kitten

There is an old saying 'it never rains until it pours', well that is the case for Eva Air's "Hello Kitty" B-16311. It has not called into Brisbane since the 22nd December 2011 and it has now come into Brisbane 3 times this year and twice in the same week. It was here on the 7th Jan the 9th March and today. I was very please this did come in today as I missed it last Wednesday.

We also got another very unusual occurrence today in the way of two Skyteam liveries. That it self has never happened here before. Korean Air brought in their B777 in the Skyteam livery for the first time ever and China Southern brought in their very regular Skyteam A330.

Below are some of the other photos taken today including a "Star Alliance" from Air New Zealand; I was hoping Qantas would bring in one of their aircraft with 'One World' on the side to complete the set.

I was sitting at the fire station viewing area with a group of spotters when a fire fighter came up to us and said "just giving you the heads up; we are going to do a fire drill on the KC30's over there and there will be a few fire fighters attending; just wanted to tell you so you don't get alarmed and wondered what was going on"
