Three arrested over bomb threat hoax in Brisbane

This school is not far from our home and our two girls attend this school; on Tuesday the 2nd of Feb the school was due to have a planned fire drill but due to the 40 degree heat; they optioned for a lock down instead. The next day however around 12.40pm they received a bomb threat and the school had no choice but to evacuate up to their oval; so the 2,100 students and 200 staff members had to be out in the 38 degree heat while the school was searched and made safe. Then on Friday the 5th; the school received another bomb threat and once again the staff evacuated the students up to the oval; this time in light drizzle. Because of some low life mentally unstable scum our girls were in a state of panic and disbelief that this could happen again.

Due to their hard work and dedication the Queensland police have arrested three people and are searching for one more after the bomb threat was made at the school this week.
Two people, a 22-year-old man and a 17-year-old woman, have been charged with using a carriage service for a hoax threat and wilful disturbance after a bomb scare at the Calamvale Community College.
Police Superintendent Mark Reid said it appeared to be a copycat incident after threats were made at numerous schools in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland this week.
"They face up to five years' imprisonment for the panic and disruption that they cause in the community and the drain that it places on the police resources," Superintendent Reid said.
The pair will appear in the Richlands Magistrates Court on Monday.
A third man, aged 19, was arrested today and police said he could face similar charges.
