As we were waiting we for these beasts to depart we saw the new Qantas Retro Roo 11 come out, and then to our surprise not long after that the old Retro Roo number 1 came out also. After the Emirates departed for Auckland we headed off but a few hours later; on our way to our next function; we stopped off at the airport again. Philippine Airlines that normally bring in an Airbus A320 had brought in their A321 and as I had never seen their A321 before I wanted to see this.
After our lunch at Southbank we knew the Jetstar "Peanuts" with Snoopy on the side was coming into Brisbane in 45 mins time. So once again we headed back to the airport. Once we got there we got not one more surprise but two more surprises... not only was the other Jetstar with the "Sunglasses" theme was on the ground and going out soon, but last nights Emirates A380 that was due to depart at 8.45pm was still on the ground and was leaving at 4pm. Needless to say we stayed for the departure which ended up being around 4.45pm. Today sure was a day for special liveries.
