Australia is waking to a new Prime Minister

Australia is this morning waking to the news that we have a new Prime Minister in the name of Malcolm Turnbull; Mr Turnbull is the 5th Prime Minister for Australia in 5 years and our 29th in total.
Prime Minister-designate Malcolm Turnbull says he will lead a "thoroughly Liberal government" and paid tribute to his predecessor, Tony Abbott, after winning a late-night ballot for the Liberal Party leadership. The former communications minister defeated Mr Abbott 54 votes to 44 in a party room ballot which also saw Julie Bishop re-elected as deputy leader ahead of Kevin Andrews 70 votes to 30.
The ministry will remain as it is for the rest of the parliamentary week before a reshuffle which will benefit Mr Turnbull's backers.
Ms Bishop will stay on as foreign minister, with Education  Minister Christopher Pyne expected to take on Defence. - you can see more at: http://www.skynews.com.au/news/top-stories/2015/09/14/abbott-told-he--has-to-go-.html#sthash.VPXAc0km.dpuf
