Brisbane to Darwin Flight

If being at the airport for the last 2 days wasn't enough I headed back there again today, but this time on official business as I was heading to Darwin for the week for work.
I arrived at the airport at 7.50am and checked in, and like the last 3-4 flights my request for a business class upgrade using points was declined. After clearing security (and getting swabbed for explosives) I headed up to the gates and with some time up my sleeve I thought I would take a few photos.

EMIRATES A380-861 A6-EEF (CN 113)

After a while I wondered up to gate 19 where my (QANTAS) flight 824 was patiently waiting. The aircraft for today was VH-VYI a B737-838 (CN 34181) We commenced boarding at 8.40 and I took my seat in 20A a few minutes later.
We pushed back at 9.04 and commenced taxiing at 9.08, runway 01 was in use so we taxied down for an Alpha 7 departure. We had a good 10 minute wait, then at 9.17 the engines came to life, we were given a rolling start and became airborne at 9.19 am. After take off we made a long slow right hand turn and practically flew back over the top of the airport.

Our track today took us up over Emerald, Mount Isa then on to Groote Island before banking left and heading for Darwin. We were cruising at flight level 360 and, apart from the rude inconsiderate passenger in front of me who reclined his seat right back for 80% of the flight and continued to push back hard on his seat, even during the meal, the ride was very smooth and comfortable.

We commenced our descent at 12.17 Darwin time (12.57 Brisbane time) We landed on runway 29 at 12.49 local (1.19 pm Brisbane) and taxied to bay 4
