Air New Zealand brings in 787-9 instead of 767-300

Well it was almost 24 hours to the minute when we were last at the airport, last night it was for the final Malaysia Airlines flight and tonight it was for two reasons. The regular late afternoon Air New Zealand flight (NZ139) from Auckland is normally operated by a B767-300 but as that aircraft went U S yesterday, tonight's flight was operated by a B787-9. This is only the second time an Air New Zealand 787-9 has visited Brisbane. This aircraft was the test aircraft that passed through Brisbane on the way to Alice Springs in January 2014 for hot weather testing; but this is its first revenue flight. The other reason was, the China Airlines flight that normally arrives around 10.50am  from Taipei and departs at 12.30pm for Auckland was severely delayed due to a Typhoon crossing Taipei. This aircraft came in just over 6 hours late at 5.25pm this evening.
When we got to the airport we noticed a Royal Australian Air Force B737-7DT (BBJ)  parked at the logistics and while we took photos of that a Dassault Falcon 7 arrived.
