It was really strange to wake up in a motel on a Sunday morning; After a hearty breakfast of bacon and eggs I headed off to the airport to catch any movements for the next few hours as my flight wasn't leaving until 12.40.

Around 11.30am I headed over to the terminal to check in and after clearing security I headed to gate 3 where I waited for our QANTAS Link Dash 8 to arrive. The aircraft for this flight was VH-QOC (CN 4117)
We boarded our flight at 12.25 and I took my seat in 9D; like the flight from Brisbane to Rockhampton, this flight also had a lot of empty seats.
We started engines at 12.43 and taxied at 12.47, we got airborne at 12.52 from runway 14 and we climbed to flt lvl 220. Our track today took us over Rockhampton and Gaynder then over Cabooluture as we headed in for runway 19 in Brisbane; touching down 10 mins ahead of schedule at 2.10pm.
We taxied to a stand off bay and we disembarked at 2.14.
Flight number 17 so far this year was now completed.
