A woman has died on a flight from Brisbane (BNE/YBBN) to Melbourne (MEL/YMML) The passenger collapsed on a Virgin Australia flight at around 9.30am local time on Monday.The crew aboard VA flight 314 performed CPR on the woman as the plane was given priority landing at Tullamarine at 10.15am. Emergency crews were waiting on the tarmac to aid the woman upon arrival but were unable to revive her.
Victoria Police confirmed that officers attended the scene at Tullamarine on Monday morning. A spokesperson said police would prepare a report for the coroner and that the death is not being treated as suspicious.
