Chipmunk crashes at Jandakot Airport

I spent the day spotting at Jandakot airport yesterday when unfortunately, a 66-year-old de Havilland Canada DHC-1 Chipmunk crashed while taking off from runway 24R.

Great news is the 77-year-old single pilot survived the crash but sadly he is in a critical condition in hospital.

I wish him a speedy recovery.
