Turkish Airlines flight turns back due to brawl

A Turkish Airlines flight travelling from Istanbul (IST/LTFM) to Cologne (CGN/EDDK) was forced to turn back for safety reasons after a fight broke out.
An argument got violent after a passenger said, "Take care of your child," to a family who was traveling with their child with Down Syndrome. The father then got up and attacked the passenger for making those comments.

The flight returned to Istanbul, and police arrested the suspects, one was also transported to hospital with non-serious injuries.

The flight departed from runway 18 at 4.20 pm, climbed to just over 10,000 feet and the landed back on runway 17L 28 minutes late at 4.48 pm.
