ALL NIPPON AIRWAYS BOEING 787-9 JA894A (MSN 34517) |
West Australians with their hearts set on a trip to Japan can once again do it in a single hop, with All Nippon Airways restarting non-stop flights between Perth and Tokyo Narita from this coming Sunday, the 29th of October.
The once-popular route, which the Virgin Australia partner first launched in September 2019, has been on ice since the early days of the global pandemic.
NH882 will depart from Tokyo’s Narita Airport (NRT/RJAA) at 11:20am every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, arriving in Perth (PER/YPPH) at 8:30pm, ready for a quick turnaround.
NH881 will then depart Perth at 9:55pm the same three days, touching down into Tokyo at 8:30am the following day.
Star Alliance member ANA is relying on its workhorse Boeing 787 for the route, with the aircraft sporting lie-flat business class seats – all with direct aisle access – ahead of a small premium economy cabin.
The return of non-stop ANA flights to Perth means West Australians will no longer have to transit via Sydney, though the double-daily connection to Tokyo Haneda still remains an option.
