Aussie travellers booted off AirAsia flight as they hurl abuse

Two foul-mouthed Australian travellers have been filmed threatening passengers and airline staff before being kicked off an AirAsia flight bound for Thailand.

The duo were boarding the morning flight from Kuala Lumpur on Boxing Day when a confrontation was allegedly sparked over a missing pair of headphones.

In a video uploaded to TikTok on Wednesday, the passengers can be seen arguing with staff as they calmly attempt to escort the men off the plane.

“If youse are all men you’ll come take me off the airplane,” taunts one of the men wearing a red T-shirt.

Some passengers begin to applaud as the men get up from their seats, but the pair then direct their wrath towards a group sitting at the back of the plane.

“We’re not getting off you d**kheads,” the second man wearing all black snaps back.

“We’re coming to Thailand dog – watch.”

His travel companion in red then interjects: “F***king mutts…we’ll see youse there aye.”

The man dressed in black goes to sit back down as AirAsia staff calmly continue to try and eject him from the aircraft.

“I was here before everyone,” he can be heard saying in protest.

The man in red then returns to retrieve his bags before making one final threat to the cabin.

“You’re dead,” he says while appearing to make a menacing gesture to staff.

After both men are eventually removed from the plane the cabin then erupts into cheer and applause.

The passenger who filmed the incident claimed the ordeal had delayed their flight by 1.5 hours, but praised staff for keeping the situation under control.

“Credit to all the dedicated Air Asia staff from security staff... for their professional actions,” he said.

The airline said travel restrictions could be imposed on disruptive passengers at their discretion.

The safety and wellbeing of our staff and guests is always our number one priority,” said chief airport and customer experience officer, Kesavan Sivanandam.

“AirAsia has a zero policy for unruly behaviour of any kind, and our staff are well trained in handling situations of this nature.

“Travel restrictions may be put in place at the discretion of the airline for inappropriate behaviour.”
