Airshows a plenty for Queensland

If you are a "plane crazy aerosexual" like me that is obsessed by aviation, then you are in for a treat.
First of all to kick off the excitement, Topgun Maverick is "finally" being released in a few weeks and I have tickets to the first viewing.

If that's not enough there are three airshows coming up in our South East.

The first airshow is the Brisbane Airshow on the 2nd and 3rd of July 2022
This airshow is dedicated to the men and women who have served in our armed forces. The show includes Military, Warbirds, World War II Fighters, Jets, Helicopters, Aerobatics, Skydiving, Military Vehicles, Hot Rods, Classic Cars, Aviation Expo, Somerset Business Expo, Live Music, Gourmet Food, Amusement Park and lots more.
This show is set in the Brisbane Valley, a 60 minute's drive from Queensland's Capitol City, Brisbane.

The second airshow is the Ipswich Amberley Air Tattoo.
Australia’s largest Air Force base, RAAF Base Amberley, will open its gates to the public for the first time since 2008, as part of the Air Tattoo.
The sky will be filled with Royal Australian Air Force aircraft when the Defence stage the Ipswich Amberley Air Tattoo, on the 29th and 30th of October 2022.

The third airshow is the Pacific Airshow and will be held on the Gold Coast in August 2023, marking the beginning of a new annual aerial display event at the iconic Queensland holiday destination. This airshow will take place at Surfers Paradise over three days and has been supported by the federal, state and local governments, along with the Australian Defence Force. The official dates for the airshow will be announced in August 2022, one year ahead of the inaugural show.

The Pacific Airshow Gold Coast will be run by Code Four, the Los Angeles-based company that launched the original Pacific Airshow in Huntington Beach, California in 2016. Three million visitors attended the California show, which has included aerial displays by the US Navy Blue Angels, US Air Force Thunderbird's, Royal Air Force Red Arrows and the Canadian Forces Snowbirds.
There has never been an air event of this scale staged anywhere in Australia.

So there are some very exciting times ahead.
