I haven't been out to Brisbane airport doing any spotting since 26th January so I was really looking forward to it.
As we drove over the Gateway bridge we could see a few aircraft at the logistics apron, so before we went to the turning circle we went for a drive past.

From there we went up to the turning circle for a few hours. The weather was not on our side as we got wet a few times.

As China Eastern taxied out and two heavies were on arrival (CX and SQ) the heavens open up and I really got wet... but that is dedication and commitment for you.

Once home the girls gave me my presents and amongst the many items was this bespoke boarding pass and a beautiful heart felt message on the back of the pass.
Every year my wife makes me a cake with something to do with aviation. I have had a tower, a scanner, a runway, a few planes and this year I got a tail of my favorite airline of all time.
