Spotting on the Gold Coast

Due to a family function we need to attend to tonight my family and I headed to the Coast last night. The apartment we are in is very nice and comfortable with lovely water views.

This morning while the family slept I got up and watch the sunrise and then headed to the Gold Coast Airport, also known as Cooly (for Coolangatta) to do some plane spotting.

I forgot to bring my ladder but it was ok because they were using runway 14 so aircraft flew in in front of me. Well it WAS ok until they changed runways and then I had to use the holes in the fence.
