Our week long holiday has come to an end and it was time to go home.
We had a 1.25pm flight on Virgin Australia but we got to the airport around 9am so we could visit the viewing deck at the airport for one last time. (photos to follow after this post) After a few hours there we headed off to the terminal to check in. We arrived at the Virgin counter around 11am and after clearing security went up stairs to grab some refreshments and continued taking a few more photos from inside the terminal.

When we approached gate 20 we could see the aircraft was an A330-200, VH-XFH and we sitting in 31A,C and D. We started boarding at 12.55pm (W.A Time) and pushed back at 1.28pm.

We commenced taxing at 1.37pm and we taxied out for a runway 21 departure. (This was a runway change from this morning as all flight were using 03 and 06) We were airborne at 1.37 and not long after take off we made a few hard left hand turns before setting course for Brisbane.
Our flight today took us over Norseman; out across the Great Australian Bight; up over Bourke; across to Goondiwindi and into Brisbane. The flight today was very smooth and extremely comfortable; in fact it was so comfortable I found myself having about a 20 minute cat nap.

We began our descent at 7.08 pm (Brisbane Time) and as we approached the city of Toowoomba we where put into a 15 minute holding pattern. We continued on and landed on runway 01 at 7.55pm and taxied to gate 40 pulling up there at 8.01pm.
