Day 3 in Darwin

This morning was exactly the same as yesterday morning, extremely dark heavy clouds that had the words "thunderstorms" written all over them, but by 7.30 the clouds started to disappear and it warmed up very quickly. I was talking to one of my customers and he was saying it is norm at this time of year.
Due to a heavy work load I didn't get much spotting done until late in the afternoon, but I manage to grab a shot here and there when I could.
I did make a point to have lunch around 2.30 so I could get Silk Air from Singapore. I was very lucky to be blessed with two U.S Marine arrivals not long after Silk Air.

When the calls for today we're done I went back out and sat near the airport hoping for something different from the normal. Sitting there for almost 2 hours paid off.
