At Chicago's O'Hare International Airport, a passenger became enraged and threw a computer monitor at Frontier Airlines employees after being informed she had missed her flight. Video footage shows the angry woman climbing over a baggage check-in counter and confronting the staff aggressively.
The situation intensified as she started to grab and yell at the employees. Pushed back by an employee, she seized a computer monitor and threw it, hitting one staff member in the abdomen. She then slammed another computer to the ground, climbed back over the counter, and hurled insults at the staff.
According to reports, a traveler who recorded the incident stated the woman's fury was triggered when she learned she was too late to board her flight. Frontier Airlines has not issued a statement regarding the incident, referring all questions to the Chicago Police Department, as reported by the media.
The Chicago Police confirmed that the 31-year-old woman also threw a cell phone, injuring a 40-year-old bystander and a 24-year-old woman. The woman fled the airport after the confrontation.
The Chicago Police Department is actively investigating the incident and anticipates the imminent arrest of the involved passenger.
