An hour at Tullamarine

This morning I flew down to Melbourne on business so after a busy l-o-n-g day I decided I would head out o the airport for what will probably be the last time until summer starts again. Daylight savings ended here in Australia on the weekend and it gets dark just after 6pm here in Melbourne at the moment. As the months creep on and winter closes in it will be getting dark around 5pm.
I arrived at the airport just before 5pm and left after the Emirates departed at 6.10pm

Here I took a few photos this morning as we taxied in

Easter Monday spotting

Being a public holiday I thought I would head out to the airport for a few hours as I hadn't been out to Brisbane airport spotting for a while. When I arrived at the viewing point (turning circle) I was furious to find the airport had erected high security fencing inside the airport permitter and it was right in the way of aircraft landing on runway 01 and taking the high speed taxi way. So I do apologise for the fence in some of the photos.
