QANTAS dresses up for Gay Mardi Gras

QANTAS has tricked up one of its aircraft to show support for the up coming Sydney Gay Mardi Gras.  As you can see the A330-303 VH-QPJ (CN 712) has the name QANTAS in different colours and the Kangaroo is holding a flag. I was in Melbourne on Friday coming home and I found out I missed this aircraft by about 15 minutes which was very disappointing, so I made sure I was out at the airport early this morning for its arrival.

Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, which will be held on Saturday 4th March, is one of Australia’s most famous and well-loved events, bringing thousands of visitors to Sydney to join in the celebrations. It captures the imagination of Australia’s LGBTQI and mainstream communities, taking over the city for weeks on end, culminating in the world-famous Parade: a colourful and dazzling night of pride, celebration and self-expression.
