Yesterday I posted this story
On the 6th of May 2025, the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) conducted an airstrike on Sanaa Airport (SAH/OYSN) in Yemen. The strike was in retaliation for a Houthi missile attack that landed near Tel Aviv Airport a few days earlier.
As a result of the airstrike, three Yemenia Airways aircraft were destroyed, including two Airbus A320s and one Airbus A330. Images circulating on social media indicate that its A330-200 (7O-AFE) has been destroyed, possibly along with two A320s (7O-AFA and -AFC).
It has now been confirmed the registrations of the destroyed aircraft were correct, but it also turns out five (5) aircraft were destroyed.
Destroyed aircraft are as follows
