Today marked the return of Hong Kong Airlines to the Gold Coast for the first time in six years. From the 17th of January to the 15th of February 2025, Hong Kong Airlines will operate a four-week service with nonstop flights between the Gold Coast and Hong Kong. Their inaugural flight to the Gold Coast was on the 9th of January 2016, this was performed by B-LNQ (MSN 1668). Unfortunately, they stopped flying to the Gold Coast around six years ago. However, it is delightful to see Hong Kong Airlines on the Gold Coast again, even if it is only for four weeks.
