Back to Sydney

Today I headed back to Sydney for three days as we had a new sales representative starting this morning.
My Qantas flight was at 6.30am and boarding was at 6.10, so I got up at 4.00 and headed to the airport shortly after that. Arriving there at 4.50am I went to the Qantas club for breakfast. After a bite to eat I headed to gate 21 where our Qantas flight was waiting, stopping for the usual few pics.

We began boarding at 6.04am and I took my seat which was 29A; as I boarded I noticed the registration above the door and it was VH-VXK (CN 33481) this was the first time I have flown on VXK since I started recording registrations 3 yrs ago.
The last cabin door was closed at 6.26am and we pushed back at 6.28. We began taxing for runway 19 at 6.31.  We began rolling and we got airborne at 6.36; after the usual left and right turns we set course for Sydney climbing to flight level 380.

The flight down was really smooth and comfortable for most of the flight, there was a time we had moderate turbulence for about 3 minutes but it past. Our track took us down the usual path, over Beaudesert, east of Armidale and onto Muswellbrook. Having breakfast at the club I just opted for a cup of tea on board. I watched a movie on the way down called Snatched, with Goldie Hawn and Amy Schumer, it is a really really funny movie and I found myself laughing hard a few times. We began our descent at 7.28 and landed on runway 34R at 7.52am. For the first time ever as far as I can remember we had a Qantas jumbo flying in next to us landing on 34L.
