Monday Evening at Tullamarine

Because daylight savings finished here in Australia on the weekend it now gets dark in Melbourne at 6.30pm instead of 7.30pm. Knowing that; after work I decided to go out to the airport and get the usual nightly arriving Qatar and Etihad and the departing Emirates. Arriving at the airport i was surprised to see a Cathay Pacific 747 Cargo on the ground, and to make it even better not only was it pushing back but it was a 747-800, my first 800 series.

Once I got back to my room I tried a few more shots with departing aircraft.
