I had an appointment out in a small country town today and as I was heading back towards the town of Ipswich I had an RAAF F/A-18 Super Hornet fly right over the top of me.
I quickly pulled over and grabbed my camera in the hope there would be more. I turned the aircraft scanner on and I heard Amberley say "Clear to land - check wheels" then all of a sudden one by one there were 6 Hornets coming in. Then a few minutes later with the Callsign "Fresco One" and "Fresco Two" I watched two Learjets come in and land; all this in under 15 minutes. Happy times....
