RAAF Amberley Open Day

RAAF Amberley Aviation Heritage Centre is having an "Open Day" on 20 September between 9am and 3pm. All your favourites will be on show including the F-111, Mirage, Boston Bomber and Canberra. Driving to the Heritage Centre 

You can find us at RAAF Base Amberley on South Amberley Road.
Brisbane travellers may choose to travel along the Centenary Highway through Yamanto and follow the Cunningham Highway down to the RAAF Base Amberley turn off.
The easiest and quickest way to access the centre for our Sunday Open Days is by printing off and completing our Visit the Centre Form - just bring it along on the day. Please see the form below!

Admission

Admission is FREE, however, donations are gratefully accepted.
On arrival at the RAAF Amberley Main Gate, Heritage Centre staff will be present to record your identification details and direct you to the Heritage Centre car park. All visitors are required to produce photographic identification issued by the Commonwealth or a State authority.

Access and Security

Please be advised that the RAAF Amberley Aviation Heritage Centre is located inside the secure zone of RAAF Base Amberley and that your admission to the base will be tightly controlled. During busy periods delays can be expected due to the security requirement to positively identify and record the identity of all visitors. Please be aware that all children 16 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times. It should also be noted that it is not possible to walk to the Heritage Centre from RAAF Amberley's main gate.

Disabled Visitors

We welcome disabled visitors at the Heritage Centre and can make special parking arrangements for them. Please note that working guide dogs are allowed on the premises, however, no other animals are permitted at the Heritage Centre.
